South Korea II - 6

This will be my last "Korea" post.

In two days we'll go back home. These three weeks have been so different from the former period. Then, I did not know where I was going ..  This time was the peak of the summer in South Korea. It was very hot and then the weather started to change. Temperature is milder (about 25 degrees C) and everything indicates the end of the summer season.

Last weekend we went to the GangWo Comprehensive Museum.

We really enjoyed it. The English part of the website is not finished yet, which is a shame.

The building has a temple, a study room, a boarding room, a department of natural history, world religions, and folks and wooden works, ceramics, metal works, caves, stalactites, there is a grotto, stoneworks and waterfalls.

The museum is rather new and very well kept and gives a good impression of South Korea.
 

Korea has made quite an impression. The energy here feels very solid and dense. It is of course a peninsula, but exists mainly of mountains (at least what I have seen of it).

The language barrier is a pity. I have met many nice people (especially in the spa, which has become a daily exercise .. incredible) I would have loved to have talked with. But it was not supposed to be. Body language is great, smiles open doors, being the curious type I would have loved to find out a bit more.

People, especially, the older generation, are very polite. When people address you, they bow and it becomes a habit, to do so in return, which is lovely.

Now, that the end is near, I look so forward to go home and pick up my "normal" life again.
For next week the working agenda is full .. great!!

I hope you have enjoyed my rather limited posts on South Korea, started in June, all those first impressions are so wonderful for me to look back upon .. this is a great way to hold on to memories.

I do have to add a photo of my "personal trainer", the gentleman who introduced me to all the machinery in the fitness room.
