Speaking - personal philosophy

Yesterday evening I shared my philosophy on the reading Law of Nature given to us by Red Cloud, through the mediumship of Estelle Roberts. Estelle lived from1889-1970 and they worked together for nearly 50 years.

It is so interesting to share thoughts, ideas and feelings on a text in the environments of a Spiritual church.
* The audience are usually a friendly bunch of people and very supportive in their energy.
* Finding a good text is an interesting experience. Within the contents is material for more than one address usually. The "trick" is not to want to speak on everything that is in there, but to focus on one subject.
* You are aware of your Personal Responsibility in preparing for the address because it should be of a good quality. This means that you have to enfold in it at least one of the Principles of Spiritualism, it has to have a beginning, middle and end, you have to be aware of the timeframe for the delivery, you should speak clearly (the audience are from all over the world and they should be able to follow your English), PLUS you have to practice letting go of control and work from your inspiration.

I have been practising in this environment for almost two years and it has been worth while. Meeting people from all over the world with the same desire as yourself is a gift.

The facilities we have at our disposal to do so are priceless and of course I mean internet. The audioroom we work in has its own problems which makes it even more challenging to work and learn. The words PATIENCE and PERSEVERANCE are in place here :0)
