Holidays in the Harz - Germany

The Harz is a beautiful region of Germany.
Its history is very interesting and lots of philosophers and artists have been inspired by its atmosphere. If you think of Heinrich Heine, Schiller, Nietzsche, Goethe, Maarten Luther, Rudolph Steiner you may as well think of the Harz.
We have made many walks and visted several of the little towns here, they are really beautiful and many of the old houses have been redone in the old grace and beauty.

I must admit that I do not like to visit old castles and churches. Most of them have kept energies from before and those are not always pleasant. I tend to pick up on them and very often I feel affected by them in an unpleasant way.
Being out in the open feels so much better. There is nothing more pleasant than picking up on faeries and energies that interact with mother Nature. They make me feel good, refreshed and understood .. I can be myself.

The Harz is one of my favourite regions, magical and inspirational.
We have been so fortunate, the weather has been gorgeous .. not too hot, sunny and we have enjoyed     our choice for this holday very much.

Yesterday I saw a green mushroom. Didn't even know they existed and it was beautiful.

Just read on Wikipedia that it is one of the most poisonous mushrooms in the world. Well, we did not touch it, just picked it up with the camera.
Today we saw a beautiful salamander yellow and black .. it was too far away to pick up with my iPhone camera, though.

We still have two more days and it has been a blessing to relax this way.
