This time it is a week course on Inspiration and the blogpost is the result of a practice where I was inspired to write .. about an autumn leave.
The tutor had brought some beautiful leaves with her, picked from the abundance of leaves on the grounds in this month of November when nature is getting ready for winter.
Interestingly enough I had brought with me a leave fallen from a gingko biloba tree, found about a week ago.
Sure enough I combined the biloba tree leave with one the tutor had brought.
The lay-out inspired me to write and, well, just had to share it.
Autumn leaves
Leaves of autumn
Beautiful colours of your goodbye
To the tree that birthed you
A last thank you .. in remembrance
Of your start in springtime
When you were wonderfully green
You showed yourSelf in all your glory
From small to huge ..
Receiving the kisses from the wind
That made you dance
To the sun sending you the energy
To give back to the tree that brought you forth.
And now it is fall
And you had to let go of your Mother-tree
Your visible journey has come to a close
In your last moments there was some company
A leave with another origin .. a comparable journey
Was brought to merge with you
The blending could be sensed
It was a beautiful moment
Like two souls
Meeting and accepting and enjoying their time together
You'll be going the last steps together
The steps into infinity
Where you'll turn into mulch
To once again
Give your beauty and energy to leaves again
Leaves in another cycle of life
Because life never ends.
With love,
Juliet Joan
