Listening to Nature - 5 (Born free)

Leaving your thoughts behind and remember that you are Born Free.

The BIG idea behind enjoying nature is to replenish your energy, to make contact with the needs of your own sweet self, to feel and feed your soul, to discover who you are.

If you are not already doing it, I would advise you, the next time you go outdoors for that much needed walk in nature, to leave your plans and worries behind in order to allow Nature to influence you with all her Majesty.

You could take your drawing pad or notebook with you and pencils, so when you find that perfect place to just sit and gaze around you can let your hands be creative and do remember that you are born free in spite of everything ... you always have a choice.

“Simplicity in all things is the secret of the wilderness and one of its most valuable lessons. It is what we leave behind that is important. I think the matter of simplicity goes further than just food, equipment, and unnecessary gadgets; it goes into the matter of thoughts and objectives as well. When in the wilds, we must not carry our problems with us or the joy is lost.” (Sigurd Olsen)
