South Korea II - part 1

The day before yesterday I arrived in South Korea for the second time.

The door-to-door trip lasted approximately 15 hours. The trip from the aiport to the hotel took too long because of the heavy traffic.

It is summer here! Summer holidays for the kids. The beach is much busier than in June. On the boulevard the restaurants have put out all their tables and the main street has been transformed into a one-way street because of that. The shops look very colourful with their display of kites, beachwear and firecrackers. From our room I can see some colourful tents erected for the visitors. On the beach there are two tents for boxing and a stand for pop singers.

It is very hot. The humidity is enormous .. that added to high temperatures makes it rather unncomfortable to be outside. Mornings and evenings the sea mist covers the environment like a blanket. As I write this down at 12:15 on Saturday it is still a bit misty with just a soft breeze.

The forecast is that I shall have more than enough time to write, read and study, which is great.</>
