The menopause and healing

The menopause in women's life is a very significant period. You cannot really prepare yourself for that. The best indicator that you are approaching that stage in your life is when you notice, that your monthly period is not regular anymore or totally non-existent.



It may be a period of intense relief or a period where you feel that something is missing. It may cause discomfort like hot flashes, mood swings, depressions, memory and concentration problems, insomnia, urinary incontinence, weight gain and several other symptoms.

It is important to realize, that this is no sickness.
I like to see this period in our life as the transition from one period in life to another. To a new era, where we can allow ourselves to slow down a bit and take more time for our beautiful Self.

I am not encouraging you to neglect the symptoms. What I would like to encourage you to do is, make an appointment with an alternative therapist, who can help you overcome your anguish and discomfort and can guide you through this period of transition.
