Parapsychology and philosophy
A four year study to become a Paranormal therapist "hammered" into me never to take anything for granted, never ever to be scared of phenomena, but to accept as a starting point, that the human brain has endless possibilities, not yet discovered by science and that some people have a right brain hemisphere, that is somewhat more developed than is common, meaning that the intuitive side of a person is better developed than the more practical side. The classes on parapsychology and philosophy were very interesting and they opened a vastness of information and possibilities I had never dreamt of before.
They helped to understand the cultural blanket (and I dare to call it Shamanism) present in almost all countries around the globe and I had a glimpse of the similarities.
There were subjects like dowsing, getting to know the power of minerals and herbs, tarot cards .. you name it. The subject of chakras was introduced in my life.
In fact, after 4 years I received my diploma with the realization, that there was so much more.
A remark of my philosophy tutor "restrict yourself when you are investigating a subject" hit home and for some time I did nothing new .. there was already so much in my backpack.
The paranormal therapist
In The Netherlands the paranormal therapist is a magnetic healer or a spiritual healer. It was never quite clear what the difference was. Oh yes, some people mentioned the therapist being a channel for Divine intervention and others mentioned that through (clear)knowing the therapist knew exactly where to put their hands when healing.Mediumship
And then in 2007 I heard of a place in England called the Arthur Findlay College. A place supposed to be THE place to develop mediumship. With love,
Juliet Joan
