Interesting words, aren't they?
According to the Inca teachings people are being held on the level of fear. Look around you and ponder upon this thought. We are afraid of losing a job, losing our health, breaking a leg, losing a friend or a lover. Fear always seems to be just around the corner.
Survival "yes" or "no"
This short blogpost was written in 2014 and it seems still very valid today. That is the reason I felt the need to extend on my feelings and views a little bit more. The world is filled with terror and the most horrendous pictures and broadcasts reach our senses.
Survival seems to be the answer.
Survival does not feel right to me. Survival is what we do when we go out and play and try to reach our personal boundaries. Survival is a modus when we are fighting for our life, because we are in a situation beyond our control, for instance a life threatening illness.
Try, just for a moment, to let go and look at yourself, sense the beauty inside yourself, feel your true "you" and let go of fear.
Can you do that for yourself?
I am not telling you to close your eyes and mind to all those horrendous things and situations out there. All I want to say is "be strong and know that in standing your ground, with a set of values to live your life by, you can remain clear-headed and centred and in a position to find a way out of the maze".
Read your history link on people like Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Mother Theresa, Gandhi and figure out what made them tick and maybe you have some examples of similar, maybe-not-so-world-known-people closer by ..
Welcome to the world of love, discovery and self-respect.
With love,
Juliet Joan
